Role and Responsibilities
- Responsible for building and growing the business by identifying, defining, directing, and controlling related product lines toward the budget plan and strengthening business relationships.
- Identify, develop sales channels, and facilitate the sales of the products through the channels liaising with functions involved, and integrating contract requirements with business operations.
- Consistently maintain good business intelligence to analyse market trends, competition, and spot business opportunities to drive new revenues and gain a competitive advantage over the competition.
- Pursue new product and market development with distributor/direct account for business expansion.
- Develop new business development activities including strategy development, tactical execution, conducting product and application training, and targeting new accounts with set objectives and goals to deliver and achieve potential revenue growth.
- Work with distributors and direct accounts to help, consult, lead, and guide them as business partners to achieve key deliverables for revenue growth.
Job Success Requirements
- Degree in Chemistry / Chemical Engineering / Marketing.
- Minimum 3 - 5 years of Sales and Business Development experience in the specialty ingredient / oleochemical / oil and fats industry with a successful track record.
- Global Key Account Management in B2B business with solid Distribution Management and multi-countries experience will be an advantage.
- Strategic thinking, innovative, passionate, strong drive for excellence, and strong implementation skills.
- Ability to develop, deliver, and meet sales and marketing priorities while expanding pipeline potentials.
- Fluency in both written/spoken English and Mandarin. Any other languages will be an added advantage.
Additional Notes/Desirable Skills
- Willing to travel extensively and on short notice.
