Roles and Responsibilities

• Work, coordinate and liaise with business teams to facilitate the collection of KYC and other relevant documents for client onboarding
• Conduct comprehensive KYC reviews (including reasonableness checks and desktop research) of new and existing customers to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
• Communicate directly with clients over both video and email for identity verification
• Handle AML screening of existing relationships, review and analyse SOW/SOF corroboration against client profiles to identify AML risks
• Perform reviews of customer accounts and transactions to identify suspicious activities
• Provide support for ad hoc projects and AML related audits

Skills Required

• Bachelor degree with 2-3 years working experience in AML/KYC within the financial services industry
• Knowledge and familiarity with account opening and maintenance in Singapore and Hong Kong is a plus
• Strong emphasis on being proactive, organised, resourceful and meticulous
• Good verbal and written command of English and Mandarin for daily interactions with both internal and external stakeholders via different channels (phone, email, chat) - ability to speak Cantonese is a plus
• Demonstrated drive, adaptability and great working attitude
• Ability to work independently and collaborate as a team when required
• Proficiency in computer skills and interest in learning new tools and technology
