About the Role

We are looking for fluent English speakers across Southeast Asia to join a one-time voice recording project supporting the development of advanced AI language systems.

The goal of this project is to collect authentic spoken English from diverse speakers across the SEA region. You will respond naturally to conversation prompts on everyday topics such as opinions, experiences, work, lifestyle, and current issues. There are no scripts to memorise,  we want to capture how people genuinely communicate in English.

To help AI understand speech in real-world situations, recordings must be completed across different environments, including locations with background noise such as cafés, train stations, shopping malls, outdoor areas, and quiet indoor spaces. 

If you are comfortable speaking English, can follow recording guidelines, and are available to commit to this short-term project, we would like you to join us now!

What will you be doing?

• Record 12 short audio clips in English (max. 1 minute per clip)
• Respond naturally and conversationally to provided prompts
• Record and complete audio in 5 different environments in 5 days
• Follow recording guidelines and project instructions carefully
• Communicate proactively with the Project Manager if you encounter any issues

What do you need?

• Based in Southeast Asia
• Aged 18+ 
• English proficiency of at least B1 level or equivalent

Additionally, you should have:

• A smartphone or device capable of recording clear audio
• Valid payment method to receive your earning
• Stable internet connection

Project Details

• Project Period: end of June - July 2026
• Commitment: 5 days of recording once onboarded
• Get total 5$ for 12 minutes audio

Please note that only applicants who can commit to completing all recording requirements within the assigned timeframe will be considered.
