Remote: Recruitment Team Lead
Location: Penang, Malaysia
Working Hours: 9:00 am - 6:00 pm Singapore Standard Time;
Working Days: Mondays to Fridays, 40 hours per week
About the Job
As a Remote Recruitment Team Lead, you will be responsible to leading a team of remote recruiters based in Malaysia and Philippines and at same time, hands-on resourcing, identifying, and attracting top-tier talents within Malaysia to be based in Penang or Kuala Lumpur, providing talents with the right competencies, skills, and expertise necessary to excel in their positions.
Responsibilities:
- Managing the team’s activities and driving team performance & productivity.
- Work closely with the Talent Acquisition Team to understand their recruitment needs and requirements.
- Identify and attract qualified candidates through various channels such as job boards, social media, professional networking sites, and referrals.
- Utilize targeted strategies to reach bilingual candidates proficient in English, Mandarin, Cantonese, Tamil, Bahasa Melayu, Native Japanese, and Native Korean but not limited to
- Screen resumes, conduct initial phone screenings, and assess candidates' language proficiency, customer service skills, and relevant experience.
- Lead team to evaluate candidates' ability to effectively communicate in the required linguistic skills, both verbally and in writing.
- Assess their ability to handle customer interactions, resolve issues, and provide support in each language.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers, ensuring alignment with language requirements and scheduling constraints.
- Continuously build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for future hiring needs. Engage in proactive sourcing strategies, networking events, and talent communities to expand the pool of potential candidates.
- Commit to achieving goals aligned with team targets and monthly SLAs
- Contribute to the implementation of recruiting plans and strategies
- Excellent communication, immediate responsiveness, maintain excellent internet connectivity, and providing real-time delivery during service hours;
- Back-up Internet Connection/Power in cases of Power/Internet Interruption; and Engage with stake holders and or colleagues as needed through assigned tools.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline
- Proven experience as a recruiter in team leading or managerial capacity, preferably in a remote or virtual working environment.
- As a Lead, be prepared to attend physical meeting at Clients office when required to
- Strong knowledge in Talent sourcing in spaces of Customer Experience Management, Call Centers and or for similar industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
- Familiarity with remote tracking systems and other recruitment and communication tools.
- Proven track record in fast churn in recruitment, good staying powers as well as successful placement history.
