Due to their expansion plans, we are hiring Remote Recruiters as follows:
Location: Penang or Petaling Jaya, Malaysia
Working Hours: 9:00 am - 6:00 pm Malaysia Standard Time;
Working Days: Mondays to Fridays, 40 hours per week
About the Job
As a Remote Recruiter, you will be responsible for resourcing, identifying, and attracting top-tier talents within Petaling Jaya, Kuala Lumpur, Bayan Lepas, Georgetown, or within Penang, but not limited to, by providing talents with the right competencies, skills, and expertise necessary to excel in their positions.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Business leader to understand their recruitment needs and requirements.
- Identify and attract qualified candidates through various channels such as job boards, social media, professional networking sites, and referrals. Utilize targeted strategies to reach bilingual candidates proficient in Mandarin, Japanese, and Korean but not limited to
- Screen resumes, conduct initial phone screenings, and assess candidates' language proficiency, customer service skills, and relevant experience.
- Evaluate candidates' ability to effectively communicate in Mandarin, Tamil, Bahasa Melayu, English, Cantonese, verbally and or in writing.
- Assess their ability to handle customer interactions, resolve issues, and provide support in each language.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers, ensuring alignment with language requirements and scheduling constraints. Provide guidance to hiring managers on conducting language-specific interviews and evaluating candidates' linguistic abilities.
- Continuously build and maintain a pipeline of qualified bilingual candidates for future hiring needs. Engage in proactive sourcing strategies, networking events, and talent communities to expand the pool of potential candidates.
- Commit to achieving goals aligned with team targets and monthly SLAs
- Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition team to comprehend client needs and contribute to the implementation of recruiting plans and strategies
- Excellent communication and immediate responsiveness during service hours;
- Maintain excellent internet connectivity during service working hours, and real-time delivery;
- Back-up Internet Connection/Power in cases of Power/Internet Interruption; and Engage with stake holders and or colleagues as needed through assigned tools.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Engineering, business, Marketing, Finance or Business
- Proven experience as a recruiter, with volume or mass recruitment experience.
- Experience working remotely or in a virtual environment.
- Strong knowledge in Talent sourcing in spaces of Customer Experience Management, Call Centers and or for similar industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
- Familiarity with remote tracking systems and other recruitment and communication tools.
- Proven track record in fast churn in recruitment, good staying powers as well as successful placement history.
