Role
We're seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Remote Sales Development Representative to join our dynamic team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a remote work environment and has a passion for connecting with potential clients. As a Remote Sales Development Representative, you'll play a pivotal role in identifying and qualifying leads, driving engagement, and setting the stage for successful sales conversions.
This Role reports to the Head of Sales, with a dotted line to the Marketing Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation: Proactively research and identify potential leads through various channels, including social media, online platforms, industry events, and more.
- Outreach: Initiate meaningful conversations with potential clients through emails, calls, and other communication channels to introduce our company, SaaS solutions and highlight their benefits. Follow up promptly with those who have inquired about our company and offerings.
- Qualification: Engage in consultative conversations to understand the potential client's needs, challenges, and goals. Qualify leads based on specific criteria and ensure alignment with our ideal customer profile.
- Appointment Setting: Collaborate with the sales team to schedule product demonstrations and sales meetings with qualified leads.
- Relationship Building: Nurture relationships with leads over time, understanding their evolving needs and providing them with valuable insights and information.
- Sales Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team to pass on well-qualified leads and ensure a smooth handoff for further engagement.
- Sales Tools: Utilize CRM systems, sales analytics tools, and other technologies to manage lead information, track interactions, and measure your own performance.
- Market Insights: Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer feedback to provide valuable input for refining sales strategies and product offerings.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience of 3 years in a Sales Development Representative role, preferably within the SaaS industry.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Self-motivated and disciplined to thrive in a remote work environment.
- Familiarity with CRM software and sales communication tools.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a remote team and coordinate efforts effectively.
- A passion for technology and a desire to learn about our SaaS solutions in depth.
