Resident Engineer - Urgent

Job Responsible:-

• Responsible for the supervision and monitoring of construction works in accordance with the contracts and construction drawings especially in respect of specifications, quality and time of completion
• To inspect and monitor at all times each stage of construction works including architectural works, materials and workmanship, builders’ work requirements, external works and the infrastructure works
• To ensure all materials delivered to site conform to the approved specifications and project’s inspection test plan.
• To identify all remedial / outstanding works to be carried out and ensure deliverables are delivered as per stipulated time frame stated in contracts
• To regularly update relevant superiors on the progress of construction works and report any problem areas encountered especially in respect of defective, outstanding or non-conforming works or delayed works
• Attend site and co-ordination meetings.
• Inspect and witness site tests.
• To record and document all aspects of construction work progress such as daily work record which encompasses labor force, machinery and weather records.
• To carry out final inspections and handovers including ensuring that all as built drawings are prepared and a copy kept with relevant superiors prior to issuance of certificate of practical completion
• To control all relevant project documents and data

REQUIREMENT :

• Minimum of 10 years as resident engineer and 5 years in site supervision preferably with property developer and/or contractor.
• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Engineering (C&S) or equivalent.
• Required Skill(s): Auto-CAD, Microsoft Office, Proficient in using computer/laptop
• Willing to travel/relocate
• Working :6 days in a week In Johor
• Familiar with building regulation, construction technique, material, testing & inspection procedure.
• Must have good understanding building regulation, construction technique and project implementation process.
• Able to read and interpret all the information from the drawings, bill of quantities and specifications. Propose correction and request additional details where appropriate.
• Good time management and teamwork skill.
• Possess good interpersonal skills, meticulous and confident.
• Organized, disciplined, highly motivated, proactive and a team player.
