Retail Cafe Manager - Hiring Urgently

Our company has ventured into its sideline business - a lifestyle cafe! Located at Taman Wahyu Kuala Lumpur, Cloverleaf Cafe serves quality food & beverages in a cosy dining ambience. Besides being a cafe, we are also planning to expand the business by venturing into a retail cafe, focusing on organic and healthy products.

We are looking for a retail cafe manager who are interested to join our group.

1. Manage day-to-day operations of the cafe
2. Hire and onboard new wait staff and baristas
3. Train employees on drinks preparation and proper use of coffee equipment
4. Coordinate with vendors and order supplies, as needed (like takeaway cups, coffee, milk and other ingredients)
5. Maintain updated records of daily, weekly and monthly revenues and expenses
6. Add new menu items based on seasonality and customers’ preferences (for example vegan coffee drinks)
7. Advise staff on the best ways to resolve issues with clients and deliver excellent customer service
8. Ensure all cafe areas are clean and tidy
9. Nurture friendly relationships with customers to increase loyalty and boost our reputation
10. Organize all store operations and allocate responsibilities to personnel
11. Supervise and guide staff towards maximum performance
12. Prepare and control the store’s budget aiming for minimum expenditure and efficiency
13. Monitor stock levels and purchases and ensure they stay within budget
14. Deal with complaints from customers to maintain the store’s reputation
15. Inspect the areas in the store and resolve any issues that might arise
16. Plan and oversee in-store promotional events or displays
17. Keep abreast of market trends to determine the need for improvements in the store
18. Analyze sales and revenue reports and make forecasts
19. Ensure the store fulfils all legal health and safety guidelines
