Job Responsibilities:
- Manage sales targets and ensure timely collection of sales revenue by reporting sales personnel with at least 5-7 years of experience in retail chain sales.
- Develop distribution and promotional strategies to meet sales and collection targets set by the Head of Department (HOD), leveraging direct experience in selling to retail chains.
- Provide training to sales personnel on effective sales techniques, leveraging B2B experience, and support in identifying new customers and market segments.
- Identify and recommend new brands/products and business opportunities, leading product/business development efforts with experience in retail chains.
- Maintain updated sales tools such as catalogues and price lists for the sales department with experience in retail chains.
- Ensure proper customer service and regular data updates, drawing on experience in retail chains.
- Analyze sales figures and trends with experience in retail chains.
- Monitor departmental expenses to optimize resource utilization and enhance profitability with experience in retail chains.
- Recruit, train, and guide sales staff on product knowledge, sales skills, and customer service standards with B2B experience in retail chains.
- Stay informed about industry products and competitors' activities, especially within retail chains.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Sales/Business Administration or relevant field.
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in retail chain sales.
- Direct experience in collaborating with well-known retail chains or similar establishments.
- Strong business-to-business (B2B) sales experience.
- Hands-on leadership style, capable of coaching subordinates to meet company standards.
- Flexible and adaptable to changes, with a positive attitude.
- Result-oriented and skilled in developing business plans to achieve strategic objectives.
- Resourceful and able to work well under pressure.
- Strong leadership qualities and ability to work long hours to achieve results.
- High standards of integrity and ethics.
- Excellent planning, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
