Team Development, facilitating staff learning training, and development
Conduct performance appraisals to assess training needs and building career path for the staff.
To effectively recruit, induct, lead, manage, train and develop Retail Area Manager and staff to agreed procedures and standards.
To give support to staff so they have the opportunity to develop their skills in the role.
To promote a customer care approach within the retail business, investigating complaints or issues of poor customer care, both timely and efficiently.
Evaluate reports, decisions and department results on established goals.
Establish strong relationships with internal departments and contacts.
To take responsibility for being up to date with current policies and procedures and to adhere to these.
To ensure all shops are efficiently and effectively managed, visiting them regularly, and monitoring their compliance with policy, procedure and standards.
To monitor stock in each shop, ensuring there are adequate supplies.
Manage Retail Operations manual and documents changes.
Attend Planning meetings to confer discrepancies availability.
Lead and develop retail meetings’ planning and organizing.
Prepare and submit paperwork to management on time.
Inspect company equipment regularly to ensure proper maintenance.
Supervise retail training efforts and ensure training consistency and employee development.
Develop performance metrics to build, deliver, report and track mechanism.
Optimize geography contribution through right people, place and following process.
Ensure operations process satisfies audit requirements.
Define and manage new process execution.
To instigate and implement new policies and working practices in conjunction with Directors and to undertake responsibility for ad-hoc initiatives, as and where appropriate.
Any other ad-hoc task assigned.
Reporting + Sales Target
Basic Computer applications in stores management and materials control
Oversee operating costs by defined geography to optimize contribution
Maintain awareness of market trends in the retail industry.
Monitor and analyze sales performance and merchandise mix
To grow sales profit, and to motivate staff to achieve this same goal.
Liaise with Department Manager / Director
Requirements:
Minimum 2-year(s) experience & knowledge in retail branch management.
Diploma / Degree or in any field.
Possess own transport and willing to travel.
Willing to work extra hours and on public holidays.
Must be self-motivated, proactive, good interpersonal skill, able to multitask and work under pressure.
MS Office, Open Office or Google Sheets, Docs & Slides,
