Reward Analyst - Technology

This role is your opportunity to contribute to an important phase of that transformation.

Your immediate focus would be to help deliver BAT's Visier implementation, an important breakthrough in our HR transformation roadmap. You would be assisting in the rollout of the Total Rewards Module by redefining how reward insights are to be generated, accessed, and applied across the business.  

Alongside Visier, your contribution would help enable annual reward processes to become simpler, faster, and more effective, whilst turning data into clear and actionable insights for managers.   The driver sets the direction, and you would be supporting to optimise every lap, and enable leaders to make confident decisions at pace.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Be a member of the Visier transformation programme, supporting implementation, optimisation, testing, adoption, and continuous improvement


• Pro-actively equip the global reward team with race-winning analytics by developing tools, and templates that support the annual reward cycle


• Responsible for continually improving BAT's Reward Power BI dashboards ecosystem by ensuring the delivery of accurate, insightful, and user-friendly analytics. At the same time, actively handle dashboard maintenance, access control, and user documentation till full transition of Visier as primary reward analytics platform is completed


• Continuously scan externally for practical improvements, exploring new technologies, AI capabilities, and automation opportunities that simplify processes and elevate reward analytics


• Partner with reward stakeholders to understand business needs, uncover opportunities, and translate reward data into actionable insights that inform decisions and bring reward value to life for managers.


• Help the team stay race-ready by supporting key Reward priorities such as pay equity, global living wage, pay transparency, and transformation.

What are we looking for?

• 3-5 years' experience in a data analytics or business-facing analytical role, delivering reporting, automation, and data-driven solutions; Reward or HR experience is advantageous but not essential.


• Proficiency in Microsoft Copilot, Excel, Power Query, SharePoint, Power BI, Power Automate, Macros, Python, and ideally SQL.


• Strong capability in data automation, cleansing, transformation, validation, modelling, and analysis.


• Ability to consolidate sophisticated and fragmented data into meaningful insights and business actions.


• Continuous improvement mindset with a focus on process optimisation, automation, and innovation.


• Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.


• Shown ability to build trusted partnerships and collaborate optimally with diverse stakeholders.


• Global attitude, with experience working across cultures, geographies, and time zones.
