- Lead process engineering team to drive systemic improvement for overall assembly to meet quality, delivery and cost metrics
- Manage daily tactical activities to fix production line issues and define long term strategies to ensure predictable and sustainable results
- Partner with manufacturing and equipment team to drive quality and operational excellence
- Drive process and product yield improvements through systemic problem solving and identifying solutions to baseline issues
- Drive productivity and cost improvement projects for the operation
- Develop technical capability for process team, identify trainings required, strengthen fundamental knowledge and establish SME for every processes
- Early involvement in NTI/NPI, apply lesson learnt and ensure smooth transition to high-volume manufacturing
- Drive enhancement and compliance of Control Plan, OCAP and SWE
- Drive strategic industrialization plan, automation and quality firewall implementation
- Manage effective communications with internal and external teams
- Key interface working with BL, API, Final Test, suppliers, external vendors, support group and other cross functional team to improve manufacturing robustness and meeting customer requirements
- Manage internal and external audit, drive compliance to requirements
Profile
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Discipline
- Minimum 8 years working experience in semiconductor industry with hands-on experience in assembly processes an added advantage
- Demonstrated leadership skills with high level of ownership and accountability
- Proven results in leading NTI/NPI, new process/tool implementation and driving quality, productivity, cost and improvement projects
- Demonstrated people’s management skills and has passion for people’s development
- Technically competent, data driven and hands-on with strong analytical thinking and good in problem solving
- Has the desire to learn, take up new challenges and consistently challenge status quo
- Able to work under pressure and tight dateline, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
