Job Description- Safety & Health Coordinator

Responsibilities:
Assist to identify and assess any foreseeable risk arising from the workplace or work processes therein
• To recommend the workplace reasonably practicable measures;
• To recommend on minimising the risk, and safe work procedures to control the risk;
• To assist in implementing the measures or safe work procedures;
• To investigate any incidents/accidents and advise on the remedial measures to be taken to prevent any recurrence;
• To work closely with the relevant authorities on safety and health matters;
• Assist in review and revise all risk assessments to ensure compliance.
• Conduct routine checks on general safety practices and propose corrective actions and measures to be taken.
• Ensure inspection and review of all project sites activities and operation and alert relevant Section Head of any machinery, equipment, appliance, activity or process used in each department that exposes any person to the risk of bodily injury, and to recommend appropriate corrective measures.
Qualifications & Experience:
• Minimum 2 years relevant working experience in Manufacturing Industry.
• Strong technical competency, good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and target oriented in a stressful environment.
• Ability to interact effectively with colleagues in other department.
