About Our Client

My client is a prominent manufacturer within the rubber industry. They are setting up new plants and currently seeking for the right talent to be part of their team.

Job Description

• Create and implement safety policies, procedures, and programs to ensure a safe work environment.
• Perform risk assessments and inspections to identify potential hazards and take corrective actions.
• Conduct incident investigations to determine root causes and develop preventive strategies.
• Offer guidance and support to management and employees on safety-related issues.
• Ensure adherence to all applicable local, state, and federal safety regulations and standards.
• Design and deliver safety training programs for employees at all organizational levels.
• Maintain safety records and documentation in line with regulatory requirements.
• Work with cross-functional teams to foster a culture of safety excellence and continuous improvement.
• Keep updated on emerging safety trends, regulations, and best practices, and recommend necessary adjustments to safety programs.
• Act as the main point of contact for regulatory agencies and external stakeholders on safety-related matters.

The Successful Applicant

• A bachelor's degree in environmental, science, engineering, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in a managerial position.
• Certified SHO, NEBOSH, Certified Industrial Hygienist, or similar.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to analyse complex situations and make effective decision.
• Experience in the rubber industry.
