Penerangan Pekerjaan - Safety and Health Officer

Conduct regular safety inspections of the construction site to identify potential hazards. Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations. Report and document findings and recommend corrective actions.
Provide safety training and orientations to new and existing construction workers. Educate workers on proper safety practices, the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and emergency procedures.
Identify potential safety hazards on-site and conduct risk assessments. Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to prevent accidents and injuries.
Ensure the implementation of safety measures and procedures as per company policies and regulatory requirements. Monitor and enforce the use of PPE and other safety equipment.
Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses to determine the root cause. Prepare detailed reports and recommend preventive measures to avoid recurrence. Assist in developing and implementing emergency response plans. Conduct emergency drills and ensure workers are aware of emergency procedures.
Maintain comprehensive records of safety inspections, incidents, and training sessions. Prepare and submit regular safety reports to management.
Collaborate with project managers to ensure safety protocols are integrated into project planning and execution. Provide safety input during project meetings and site briefings.
Stay updated with local, state, and federal safety regulations and ensure site activities comply with these standards. Prepare and submit necessary safety documentation and reports to regulatory authorities.
Identify opportunities for improving site safety practices and recommend enhancements. Participate in safety committee meetings and contribute to the development of safety policies and procedures.
