Safety & Health Officer (OSHA) - KL Eco City - Generous Compensation

The Safety and Health Officer with OSHA Certification plays a crucial role in ensuring workplace safety and compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards. He is responsible for overseeing and implementing safety protocols, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations. This position requires a deep understanding of occupational safety standards and the ability to develop and enforce safety policies.

OSHA Compliance:

• Ensure strict adherence to OSHA regulations and standards.
• Stay updated on any changes to OSHA requirements and implement necessary adjustments to maintain compliance.

Risk Assessment and Management:

• Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential hazards in the workplace.
• Develop and implement risk management plans to mitigate or eliminate identified risks.

Training and Education:

• Provide OSHA-compliant training to employees, covering topics such as hazard communication, emergency response, and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Accident Investigation and Reporting:

• Investigate workplace accidents, incidents, or near-misses to determine root causes.
• Prepare and submit comprehensive reports to management and regulatory authorities as required by OSHA.

Safety Inspections:

• Perform regular inspections to ensure compliance with OSHA standards.
• Identify and address any safety violations, providing recommendations for corrective actions.

Development of Safety Policies:

• Participate in the development and updating of safety policies and procedures in line with OSHA regulations.
• Ensure employees are aware of and comply with safety policies.

Emergency Response Planning:

• Develop and update emergency response plans, including evacuation procedures and first aid protocols, in accordance with OSHA requirements.
• Coordinate and conduct regular emergency response drills.

Recordkeeping:

• Maintain accurate records related to safety training, inspections, incidents, and corrective actions.
• Ensure documentation complies with OSHA recordkeeping standards.

Job Requirements :-

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• OSHA certification
• Knowledge in the fields of safety compliance and auditing.
• Proven experience as a Safety and Health Officer or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluency in Mandarin is preferred for candidates as the role involves interactions with Mandarin-speaking clients
