Safety & Health Officer - Urgent Hiring

Position        : Safety and Health Officer 

Location        : Tampoi, Johor

Working Hour        : 8.30 AM – 6.00 PM 

Responsibilities: 

1. In-charge of overall occupational safety and health activities. 
2. Develop and continue implementation of Safety, Health, and Environmental programs, policies and procedures. 
3. Review existing policies measures and update according to legislation. 
4. Work as Secretary of SHE Committee and assist Chairman in the implementation of a safe and healthy workplace. 
5. Conduct risk assessment and enforce preventive measures. 
6. Inspect factory premises, dormitories and check on working personnel to identify any non-conformity. 
7. Recommend practical and cost- effective solutions in security and safety management. 
8. Provide and initiate SHE trainings to ensure all employees are fully aware and adequately trained according to legislation requirements. 
9. To investigate, analyze and make rectifications recommendations for all incidents, near misses, etc. and maintain a statistic of the incidents. 

Requirements

• Certificate in Safety and Health Officer issued by NIOSH, Green Book. 
• Competent Safety and Health Officer with minimum three years' working experience in manufacturing field. 
• In-depth knowledge of legislation and procedures. 
• Experience in report writing and policies for health and safety. 
• Familiar in conducting data analysis and reporting statistics. 
• Independent, delicate and possess good leadership, analytical and interpersonal skills.  
• Ability to plan, implement and monitor safety program, policies, and procedures. 
• Computer literate.
