The role & your impact

As a Sales & Key Account Manager, Animal BioSolutions in Malaysia, you will be responsible for managing and growing relationships with key accounts and distributors across Malaysia. This is an individual-contributor role combining strategic account management, business development, technical selling, and hands-on commercial execution.

You will work closely with customers, distributors, the Regional Technical Team, regional Marketing, Customer Service, and sales leadership. Your work will contribute directly to business growth, customer value, portfolio development, and the introduction of innovative biosolutions.

Your key responsibilities in this role

• Manage and develop strategic relationships with key accounts and distributors in Malaysia.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities involving enzymes, microbes, and biosolutions.
• Understand customer needs and translate technical solutions into relevant commercial value propositions.
• Support distributors with business development, customer engagement, product knowledge, and opportunity execution.
• Identify opportunities within key accounts and optimize the product portfolio for the Malaysian market.
• Manage sales orders and coordinate with internal teams to support reliable service to key accounts and distributors.

What you’ll need to be successful in this role

• A degree in veterinary medicine, animal science, or a related discipline.
• Seven to ten years of relevant experience managing key accounts and distributors.
• Existing knowledge of Malaysia’s leading animal-health key accounts and industry players.
• Experience in technical selling, key-account management, distributor management, and business development.
• The ability to understand customer challenges and translate technical knowledge into relevant solutions and value propositions.
• Professional fluency in written and spoken English.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data to support commercial decisions.
• Strong collaboration and stakeholder-management capabilities.
• An adaptable and solution-oriented approach, with curiosity about customers and the animal-health industry.

Additional skills & interests we value

• Experience introducing innovative products or biosolutions to strategic customers.
• Product knowledge relating to enzymes, microbes, or animal-health applications.
• Experience using internal technical, commercial, and marketing resources to address customer needs.
• Additional language capabilities relevant to customers in the Malaysian market.
