Penerangan Pekerjaan - Sales and Operation Executive

The Sales and Operations Executive is responsible for achieving targeted sales growth within a portfolio of specific customers. This includes maintaining and developing existing customer relationships, exploring new account opportunities, and delivering a unique experience to our customers. The role also involves overseeing various operational functions to ensure seamless service delivery and operational efficiency.

Key Role Responsibilities:

Increase and Optimize Activity:

  • Manage a portfolio of customers through daily sales visits, ensuring achievement of sales and profit margin targets.
  • Focus on key account retention and growth by developing and providing custom solutions that add value and solidify partnerships.
  • Identify new sales opportunities (new accounts or products) using market knowledge.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales team and category specialists to develop effective sales strategies.

SKU Penetration and Profitability:

  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Communicate and coordinate with other CFF resources such as Branch Managers, Marketing, and Operations to meet and exceed customer satisfaction.
  • Proactively check product quality and availability to prevent complaints.
  • Manage and record customer complaints according to CFF standards, propose solutions, take action, and involve management or suppliers when necessary.

Maintain High Levels of Customer Satisfaction:

  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with Branch Managers, Marketing, and Operations to exceed customer expectations.
  • Proactively check product quality and availability to prevent complaints.
  • Manage and record customer complaints according to standards, propose solutions, and involve management or suppliers when necessary.
  • Maintain advanced knowledge of market situations, trends, and opportunities within the scope.
  • Proactively collect feedback from the field, including customer feedback, competitor activities, new trends, and business opportunities.
  • Coordinate with management to ensure information is circulated effectively.

Stock Management and Forecasting:

  • Support effective stock management by providing sales forecasts based on account needs.
  • Be aware of supply schedules and stock positions for product categories, anticipating potential issues (shortages, overstock).
  • Propose solutions to avoid or fix stock problems and prevent wastage or product unavailability.

Reporting:

  • Record daily customer visits in the required format.
  • Provide reports based on management requirements (e.g., stock/sales analysis).

Ad Hoc Responsibilities:

Perform additional tasks as required by the Branch Manager to support business needs and objectives.

Requirements:

Educational Background:

  • Diploma or university degree in Business, Marketing, Operations, or a related field.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within the food service distribution or F&B industry.
  • Sales background or knowledge of pastry is an advantage.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience in a coordination role within sales and operations.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong sales and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a customer-centric approach.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and sales data to inform strategic decisions.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Proficiency in English and Mandarin is required.

Other Requirements:

  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as required for customer visits and operational oversight.
  • Ability to work extended hours or weekends if necessary to meet business objectives.
