Team Introduction At Teleport Next Day, we’re on our 0 → 1 journey of building an affordable next day delivery service for small and medium brands across Southeast Asia. We’re the newest unit of Teleport, which means we have the global infrastructure of a giant, but the soul of a startup.
Role Introduction
To accelerate customer acquisition by engaging, qualifying, and filtering inbound leads through calls and messages, ensuring high-quality handover to the Business Development (BD) team while delivering a strong first experience for prospective customers.
This role plays a critical efficiency unlock for the sales team and will also help build the foundational data (scripts, FAQs, call insights) required for future AI-driven sales automation.
Responsibilities
Lead Engagement & Qualification
Proactively call and message inbound leads from paid ad campaigns
Qualify prospects based on defined criteria (use case, volume, urgency, fit)
Schedule qualified meetings for the BD team
CRM & Process Excellence
Maintain accurate and up-to-date deal cards in HubSpot
Log call outcomes, customer needs, objections, and next steps
Track and manage 200+ active leads concurrently without drop-off
Customer Activation
Engage all new sign-ups to answer questions and guide them towards placing their first order
Address basic pricing, operational, and onboarding queries
Escalate complex issues to relevant teams when required
Insights & Continuous Improvement
Identify recurring customer questions, objections, and pain points
Proactively group insights into themes for product, commercial, or operational improvements
Contribute to the creation of call scripts, FAQs, and sales playbooks
Strong Direct Communication
Confident on the phone and via messaging
Able to persuade, handle objections, and maintain a positive customer experience
High Organisational Discipline
Comfortable managing large volumes of leads simultaneously
Systematic in follow-ups, CRM updates, and task prioritisation
Proactive, Insight-Driven Mindset
Actively identifies patterns in customer feedback
Thinks beyond execution to suggest improvements across product, pricing, or operations
What You’ll Need – Desirables
1–3 years of experience in telesales, SDR, inside sales, or customer-facing commercial roles
Experience working with CRM tools (HubSpot preferred)
Comfortable in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English (Bahasa Malaysia is a plus)
Curious, coachable, and motivated by impact rather than just volume
