Sales Engineer

Job Position: Sales Engineer
Salary Package: Basic RM3,500 + Commission
Gross Salary: Can up to RM6K - RM7K
Working Location: Senai, Johor
Working Days & Hours: Monday - Friday (8:30am - 5:30pm), Sat (8:30am - 1pm)
Industry: Wholesales and Retail in Mechanical Parts

Job Descriptions:
1. Need to have a deep understanding of the mechanical engineering products or systems that you are selling. This includes knowledge of their features, specifications, applications, and benefits.
2. Should be able to explain technical concepts to potential customers in a clear and persuasive manner.
3. Responsible for identifying potential customers and engaging with them to understand their needs and requirements. This involves building relationships, conducting meetings and presentations, and providing technical expertise to help customers make informed decisions.
4. Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve targets and increase revenue. This may involve market research, identifying potential clients, and devising effective sales techniques. May work closely with the sales and marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns.
5. Prepare proposals and quotations for potential customers, addressing their specific requirements and offering suitable solutions. This may involve conducting feasibility studies, cost estimation, and creating technical documentation.
6. Provide technical support to customers throughout the sales process and after the sale. This includes answering technical inquiries, addressing concerns, and troubleshooting any issues that arise.
7. Collaborate with internal teams, such as design and engineering, to ensure that customer requirements are met and to provide feedback on product improvement, may also work with project managers to ensure successful implementation and delivery of projects.
8. Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities. This knowledge will help to identify new business opportunities and make recommendations for product development or improvement.

Job Requirements:
- Possess Diploma or Degree in engineering.
- 1-2 years sales experience
- Know mechanical engineering knowledge and AutoCAD
- To generate leads in sales
- Dynamic, energetic, result-oriented with positive working attitude.
- Possess good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Strong problem solving abilities
- Must have own transport

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
