Penerangan Pekerjaan - Sales Engineer


  1. Good industry/product knowledge and ability to show the appropriate technical solutions.

  2. Understanding of renewable energy industry needed.

  3. Diagnostic skills related to the customer portfolio.

  4. Basic negotiation skill.

  5. Good contract management skills coupled with good customer relationship abilities.

  6. Knowledge of drivers of P&L.

  7. Superior analytical skills and ability to think out of the box to reach creative solutions in collaboration with commercial & technical teams.

  8. Ability to develop and sustain networks, both internally and externally.

  9. Excellent oral and written communication skills.

  10. Must have more than 3 years’ relevant industry experience.

  11. Operations, engineering, applications experience a plus.

  12. In depth understanding of industrial gases a plus.


  1. Ensure compliance with safety standard and policies.

  2. Must have a strong commitment to Safety and takes accountability for own and team’s safety.

  3. Ensures delivery of business targets through solid account management and contract leverage.

  4. Execution and delivery of business strategy for Hydrexia

  5. Proactive participation in Hydrexia’s Business Development at incumbent sites.

  6. Providing insights and ensuring that the value of local customer relationships and local strategic issues are integrated into the development of investment opportunities.

  7. Implements Best Commercial Practices.

  8. Shows great understanding of the local marketplace, individual customers (processes, industries & drivers), customer segments and competitors built within the business area managed.

  9. Ensure delivery of designated Hydrexia’s business targets in both revenue and profit.

  10. Effectively reduce and manage DSO together with Revenue Management.

  11. Lead in contract negotiation and ensure contracts in place for all termed customers.

  12. Always ensure effective execution of contract and safeguard Hydrexia interests.

  13. Lead and manage all accounts and project teams to deliver targets and ensure effective safety and customer relationship management.

  14. Identify and maximise business opportunities that are aligned to Hydrexia’s overall strategic intent.
