Sales Engineer [Southern Malaysia, Remote Work]
Position Overview:
As a Sales Engineer, you will assume a pivotal role in propelling the sales process forward by seamlessly integrating technical expertise with sales acumen. Your primary responsibilities will encompass understanding our customer needs, providing technical support, and presenting tailored solutions to meet their unique requirements. This role demands a blend of robust technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a results-driven mindset.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct compelling company presentations and product demonstrations for potential customers.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve outstanding issues promptly.
- Provide comprehensive sales support to existing customers, fostering account development and actively seek new customers to expand our business footprint.
- Collaborate with the sales team to formulate effective strategies for achieving and surpassing sales targets.
- Execute daily sales activities, including follow-up on quote and sample submission status, encompassing price negotiation and service recovery. In rare instances of quality issues, liaise with the QC Department for resolution.
- Offer guidance and support to the sales coordinator in managing customer orders.
- Participate in monthly sales meetings, sharing valuable market insights and trends with management.
- Assist in preparing and participating in trade shows within the assigned territory.
- Undertake additional tasks as assigned by the Company from time to time.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
- Proven experience in technical sales or a similar role.
- A minimum of one year of relevant work experience in a similar industry.
- Self-motivated, result-oriented, with excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Willingness to travel as required.
- Proficient in MS Office.
