Responsibilities :
* Forming new business relationships with clients in the logistics industry, with emphasis on dangerous goods packaging and transportation;
* To develop new business opportunities and maintaining existing relationships with customers;
* Researching and developing new sales opportunities, including initiating action plans to approach and engage new customers;
* Representing and promoting the company brand to increase product awareness by observing the market, competitors, and industry trends;
* Include an “outdoor sales” element – canvassing, telemarketing, hunting for sales leads including client site visits;
* Follow up with potential customers on quotation(s) delivered and negotiate with customers to achieve a feasible solution for the customers;
* Participate in industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote DGP and generate leads.
Requirement :
* Candidate must possess at least a Higher Secondary/STPM/"A" Level/Pre-U, Professional Certificate, Diploma, Advanced/ Higher/ Graduate Diploma in Logistic/ Transportation/ Marketing, Commerce or equivalent.
* Minimum of 1 year of experience in canvassing and cold calling.
* Fluency in English is a requirement, with fluency in Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin a strong advantage.
* Professional business etiquette, good presentation and follow up skills, Must be self-motivated with good interpersonal skills and able to form meaningful relationships with clients.
* Required skill(s): MS Office, Excel, good communication skills, team player, work independently, responsible
* Full-Time position available.
Working hours:
Monday to Friday, 9 am to 6 pm
Alternate Saturday, 9 am to 1 pm
*This is a permanent role
