Sales Executive ( Logistics, Freight , RM4,000) - Join a Market Leader

About The Role

The Sales Executive will be responsible for managing and growing the company's sales in the assigned territory, building and maintaining relationships with customers, conducting sales presentations, negotiating contracts, and achieving sales targets. 

The Sales Executive will also collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement sales strategies, analyse market trends, and provide feedback to senior management.

What You Wil Do

• Grow revenue and relationships with existing customer base.
• Generate leads through cold calling, networking and referrals.
• Utilize inside sales knowledge.
• Quote formal and spot bids.
• Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction- maintain close contact with all customers– including follow up on concerns or other issues.  
• Communicate effectively with customers, shippers, and receivers regarding changes in pick-up/delivery and potential service failures.
• Communicate customer problems to management.
• Exceed all standards for prospecting calls, presentations, proposals and closes.
• Provide documented activity reports of your sales efforts on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
• Execute and monitor strategic and tactical goals to maximize sales, profit and to ensure sales targets are met or exceeded.

What You Should Have

• Proven sales experience and track record
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
