Job Summary

The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth, nurturing client relationships,

and leading a team of sales professionals to achieve the organization’s revenue targets. This

role requires an experienced professional with strong communication, negotiation, and team- building skills to foster a collaborative sales culture while strategically expanding market

share.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet organizational revenue goals.

  • Lead, motivate, and coach the sales team to exceed performance targets.

  • Establish and maintain relationships with key clients and prospects to drive sales opportunities.

  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.

  • Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, product) to improve customer engagement.

  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting on sales metrics and forecasts.

  • Sales Target Achievement: Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales goals.

  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong client relationships for long-term growth.

  • Team Development: Implement training sessions and mentorship programs for team development.

  • Market Expansion: Identify new opportunities and expand the company's market share.

  • Sales Strategy Execution: Develop and drive strategic initiatives aligned with company goals.

 

The Ideal Candidate

  • Has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

  • Has proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing successful sales teams. Preferably with experience in B2B sales in the BFSI or Technology sector.

  • Familiar with using data analytics to drive sales strategies.

  • Knowledgeable in regional market dynamics.

  • Proficient in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).

  • Has strong understanding of sales metrics, KPIs, and data analysis.

  • Brings solid knowledge of market research and sales forecasting tools.

  • Has excellent communication and negotiation skills.

  • Has strong leadership and team management abilities.
