About the Role
We’re looking for a self-starting professional with extensive sales experience and network in relevant industry and market.
This person plays key role as sole contact point for all incoming/outgoing sales and/or related activities in Penang office covering Malaysia as whole for the region.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales and marketing activities communicating closely with key customers in multiple levels and cross the functions in the Company.
He/she has to pro-actively create new business opportunities while maintaining close relationship with key strategic partners and gather market intelligence and analyses current market and competitor’s situations.
Main roles and responsibilities as follow,
· In charge of Distributors & Global EMS in Malaysia as Account Manager
· Conduct market survey i.e. Gathering Competitors / Market information and revert to HQ and regional office for formulating appropriate sales strategy to counteract
· Quarter RFQ negotiation for share up with assigned customers
· SAM increase from all assigned customers Global Commodity Manager (GCM) & Sourcing Manager/Team
· Proposal of new Design Ins from G-EMS R&D sites
· Developing new customer and new product diversification opportunity with all assigned distributors especially Penang.
· Periodic strategic reporting to HQ & management
· Full assistance to Customer Service for delivery expedite
· Regular customer meeting at least once a week and business trip support
Requirement
· A level of diploma or higher education preferably in field of engineering /science/business
· Minimum 5 years of customer-facing experience in related field/industry
· Self-Motivated & Sales target orientated
· Ability to demonstrate proficiency in interpersonal skills including effective
collaboration and communication skills
· Well-developed facilitation skills to work among individuals from a wide variety of cultural backgrounds
· Developed judgment, problem-solving and analytical skills
· Demonstrated time management skills to accomplish short- and long-term assignments
