Penerangan Pekerjaan - Sales Manager (O&G, Tank Truck Equipment)

Job Summary
A leading global provider of industrial solutions is seeking a Sales Manager, Transport Solutions – Southeast Asia, based in Shah Alam, Malaysia. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales and revenue growth within the transport business segment, focusing on fueling systems and land loading solutions. This role involves managing and expanding distributor networks, supporting technical sales, conducting joint customer engagements, and providing comprehensive solutions to OEMs, tank builders, EPCCs, and end users. The Sales Manager will also act as a key liaison between the company and its distributors, ensuring strategic alignment and resolution of sales and operational matters.

Location: Shah Alam

Responsibilities
  • Achieve sales and booking targets within assigned regions.
  • Conduct regular visits to prospective clients across relevant industries to develop new business and maintain existing relationships.
  • Handle tender negotiations, contract preparation, and terms finalization.
  • Develop and execute channel sales strategies, including distributor management and expansion.
  • Collaborate with distribution partners to understand customer needs and convert opportunities into sales.
  • Identify and develop new business leads across the territory.
  • Prepare timely and accurate sales reports, including activity tracking, lost business analysis, and competitive insights.
  • Organize and deliver sales/product training, marketing events, and distributor engagement sessions.
  • Conduct market analysis (e.g., SWOT), gather insights on competitors, customer behavior, market size, and customer feedback.



Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in direct or channel sales within the oil & gas, preferably in tank truck equipment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Material, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong customer focus, business acumen, and a sense of ownership.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across Southeast Asia or beyond as required.
  • Ability to work independently in a hybrid work arrangement.
