The Universal Company was founded in 1971 to manufacture cordial distributed and marketed under the ‘7 Rings’ brand. In 1992 we have launched fruit drink base concentrates which sold under the Sun Up brand. Positioned as being a premium, natural and nutritious bottle juice concentrate, the brand has quickly gained market share and eventually became the market leader in Malaysia. To enhance our future direction and image to supply nutritional products of the highest quality to discerning consumers, the company changed its name to Universal Nutribeverage Sdn Bhd (11329-U) on 1st November 1997. Today, Universal Nutribeverage produces a variety of premium quality cordials, healthy fruit drink base concentrates and ready-to-drink fruit drinks. Utilising the latest technology and highest standard in production quality, Universal Nutribeverage has earned a respectable share of the local market and exports to over 30 countries worldwide.

Qualifications & experience

• Min. SPM / Diploma in marketing, business, or related field.
• Proven work experience as a sales and marketing executive (Min 1 - 2 years)
• Knowledge of modern marketing techniques, high-level communication and networking skills.
• Understanding of commercial trends and marketing strategies.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Willing to travel.

Tasks & responsibilities

• Accomplishes marketing and sales objectives by planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating advertisements.
• Identifies marketing opportunities by understanding consumer requirements.
• Improves product marketability and profitability by researching, identifying, and capitalizing on market opportunities.
• Research current business practices, market penetration, customer satisfaction, and promotional efforts.
• Answering client queries about product specifications and maintaining client relations.
• Look for new prospects/customers and service existing customers.
