Qualifications & experience

• Bachelor's degree in Merchandising, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in merchandising, business development, or a related field, preferably in retail.
• Experience in identifying and engaging potential buyers within the retail sector.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with a proactive and detail-oriented approach.

Tasks & responsibilities

• Discover and present potential business partnerships, actively seeking new growth opportunities.
• Assist in managing a portfolio of product categories, ensuring a well balanced assortment that meets customer needs and aligns with company objective.
• Developing and implementing assortment plans based on market trends, sales data, and customer feedback, to optimize product mix and drive sales growth.
• Monitoring inventory levels, analyzing sell-through rates, and implementing replenishment strategies to maintain optimal stock levels and minimize out-of-stocks and overstock situations.
• Conduct regular market research and competitor analysis to stay informed about industry trends, consumer preferences, and competitive landscape, providing insights to inform merchandising decisions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations and warehouse, to ensure alignment and execution of merchandising initiatives and promotional campaigns.
