Penerangan Pekerjaan - Sales Support Executive

About the Role and what you will do:
The Sales Support Executive reports directly to the Sales Support Team Leader.

This position is responsible for the End-To-End (E2E) Order to Cash (OTC) and Order Management function within the business. There is significant emphasis on Enterprise Systems and Applications processes.

The role requires closes interactions with External Stakeholders (Customers and Partners) and Internal Stakeholders across all business and supporting functions. Ability to collaborate across teams and functions is therefore a critical skill and requirement to be successful in this role.


How you will do it:

  • Pre-Sales & Enablement
    • Proactively support Frontline Sales by sourcing products, providing accurate product information, preparing quotations, and assisting with bid submissions within the shortest possible timeframe.
    • Coordinate with warehouse personnel to verify stock availability and manage customer expectations effectively.
       
  • Order & Process Management
    • Manage ERP order entry and processing, including generating Purchase Requisitions, coordinating inventory, overseeing logistics and shipment tracking, and handling billing activities.
    • Ensure strict compliance with pricing policies, approval workflows, and company guidelines.
       
  • Post-Sales Support
    • Provide assistance on post-sales matters such as delivery issues, invoicing, customer inquiries, warranty claims, and repair coordination.
  • Vendor and Customer Management
    • Facilitate onboarding of new vendors and customers.
    • Maintain and strengthen relationships with subcontractors, channel partners, and vendors.
  • Financial Coordination
    • Support Accounts Receivable (AR) collection and Accounts Payable (AP) processes to ensure timely transactions.
  • Data & Reporting
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM data to ensure data integrity.
    • Prepare and analyze sales reports, including pipeline status, revenue performance, and forecast accuracy.
    • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as order accuracy and turnaround time.
    • Generate operational and management reports to support decision-making and sales forecasting.
       
  • Collaboration
    • Work closely with external subcontractors, channel partners, and vendors.
    • Coordinate with Frontline Sales and Service Operations teams to ensure accurate material planning, sales forecasting, and timely delivery.
  • Administrative Support
    • Provide administrative assistance to cross-functional teams as needed.
  • Training & Enablement
    • Participate in training programs and system testing initiatives.
    • Support the deployment of enablement tools, training curriculum, and related programs.

What we are looking for:

  • Minimum 3 years working experience in Sales Support capacity with regional cross country collaboration exposure.
  • Minimum Diploma or higher-level education qualification is required.
  • Good working knowledge of Enterprise ERP applications such as SAP, Oracle, and BAAN is required.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and PDF is required.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Local Language capability (Written and Spoken) is mandatory.
  • Experience in sales and sales support processes.
  • Ability to balance competing priorities.
  • Strong in time management.
  • Able to work efficiently within short turnaround time.
  • Demonstrated ability to mitigate risk, assess capabilities and know when to escalate.
  • Ability to collaborate and work across teams and functions.
  • Ability to learn quickly and develop unique approaches to business objectives.
  • Good analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Business and financial acumen capability is an added advantage.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work independently with minimal supervision while actively contributing to team goals and fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Comfortable working in a multicultural environment and collaborating across different time zones.
