Sales Support Manager - Unlimited Growth Potential

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Overseeing the operations and setting objectives for the entire Sales Support team.
• Supervising order management processes, ensuring adherence to company policies for sales order booking, accurate recording in costing sheets, compliance with credit control, and adherence to established terms and conditions.
• Managing various administrative tasks including order processing, monitoring order status, addressing order-related issues or modifications, and maintaining accurate documentation.
• Collaborating with sales business units to understand revenue recognition's impact on revenue projections and ensure compliance with specified policies.
• Reporting sales data, offering insights into sales performance, reconciling actual revenue with planned revenue, and analyzing costs versus planned expenses. Providing financial forecasting and analysis for projects as needed.
• Demonstrating problem-solving abilities to address a variety of sales-related issues and inquiries.
• Developing and implementing processes and controls aligned with business objectives.
• Assessing the efficiency of systems and procedures.
• Monitoring daily operations and resolving potential issues as they arise.
• Providing additional support to the sales and estimating team when necessary.
• Assisting in sales-related audits and adjustments.

Requirements & Skills:

• Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in operations management, Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Possession of other relevant professional certifications.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Communication Skills: Proficient in both verbal and written communication in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Organization and Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail required for managing administrative tasks. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Analytical Skills: Proficiency in project management with the ability to analyze sales data, generate reports, identify trends, and support decision-making. Experience in project management for 2-3 years is advantageous.
• Financial Knowledge: Understanding of general finance and budgeting principles including profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash-flow management.
• Technical Proficiency: Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint, with strong business plan writing skills.
• Accounting System: Hands-on experience with the SAP system’s Sales & Distribution (SD) Module and Project System (PS) Module is an advantage.
• Problem-Solving Abilities: Skilled in identifying and resolving sales process issues, critical thinking, proposing solutions, and escalating issues when necessary.
• Teamwork and Collaboration: Effective collaboration and communication skills, with a desire for continuous learning through cross-training.
• Time Management: Strong multitasking and time management skills to manage various sales-related activities, respond promptly to inquiries, and meet deadlines.
• Adaptability: Ability to adapt to dynamic sales environments, adjust priorities, handle unforeseen situations, and respond effectively to evolving needs.
