The Sales Support Specialist to Sales Team plays a pivotal role in providing comprehensive sales administrative tasks to the Sales Manager/Executive and Regional Sales Director (RSD) of the designated business unit.
This position involves managing a diverse range of tasks to facilitate the efficient functioning of the Sales Team’s daily responsibilities and contribute to the overall success of the business unit.
The Role:
- Handle customer’s order processing for Sales Team with accuracy and timeliness.
- Work closely with sales personnel and provide them with updates when necessary.
- Provide information on order status/tracking, AR update to customer.
- Build good rapport with customer, provide pre-sales assistance and after-sales support to customer.
- Work closely with operations team to ensure smooth shipments of orders to customer.
- Understand of international trade/terms or shipping process will be an advantage.
- Responsible the monthly business trip preparation i.e., flight, hotel booking for Regional Sales Director (RSD).
- Manage and coordinate RSD’s Business Travel Application (BTA) and Business Travel Expenses (BTE) reimbursement with Finance department.
The individual:
- Must possess at least Diploma or higher in any discipline.
- Possess at least 3-5 years sales support with admin working experience.
- Possess strong computer skills in Microsoft Office especially Microsoft Excel and Word and Powerpoint.
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin.
- Possess high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
- An assertive person with good interpersonal skills.
- Able to follow instructions and work independently.
- Able to multi-task and set priorities.
- Able to work independently, under pressure and short lead time.
- Able to start work immediately or in short notice.
