SAP ABAP Consultant

An international executive recruitment company, Elitez Group of Companies is hiring on behalf of an international consultancy for the position of SAP ABAP Consultant (Middle/Senior) in KL, Malaysia.

Responsibilities:

• Experienced on BTP and ABAP S4HANA Development
• Have understanding of what standard BTP S4HANA Cloud can provide
• Experience working in multiple modules such as SD, MM, PP, QM, EWM and FICO
• Experience on ABAP/4 Programming Language including SmartForms, Odata, Adobe Forms, SAPScript, User-exits, BADIs, LSMW, Idocs, API and Workflow
• Experience developing Idocs, EDI and other interfaces for consumption in PI/PO
• Experience in bringing transaction code to Fiori tile
• Successfully complete high-complexity and large team projects, including status reporting with project management
• Autonomously run complex projects end-to-end in the absence of project management, including managing scope and user expectations
• Perform peer code reviews to ensure coding standards and review documentation
• Mentor other members of the team helping them to improve skills
• Create and maintain required documentation including design and technical specs
• Develop test cases and assist team with testing
• Should be proactive and willing to learn
• Be the go-to resource on a specific business function or area, and key technical skills
• Provide thought leadership towards adoption of new trends in their area of expertise
• Document Technical designs and write Technical specifications
• Provide consulting services on both new implementations and existing support projects
• Work self-directed and independently; may act as subject matter mentor to more junior members

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience in a full cycle implementation as well as in support projects.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple deliverables and projects at the same time.
• Experience in a Professional Services company.
• Ability to understand business processes from a customer perspective.
• Ability to work in a team environment, effectively interacting with others.
• Must be results-oriented and demonstrate a can-do attitude adaptability, flexibility and resourcefulness.
• Bright, outgoing personality with a positive outlook and strong team-working.
• Tenacious and willing to work extra hours on some occasions to complete tasks.
• Ability to develop immediate credibility with all levels of consultants and acquire an in-depth understanding of the business and customers.
• Ability to convey decisions and requirements clearly and appropriately.
