Senior Account Executive (Hybrid) - Innovative Company

Job Responsibilities:

• Handle full set of accounts
• Responsible for the preparation, review and analysis of monthly financial reports and budgeting exercise
• Responsible for various financial reporting deliverables in accordance with internal policies, financial reporting standards and relevant laws and regulations
• Participate in the analysis of financial data to evaluate the performance of the company
• Review and endure the completeness of all financial transactions are properly updated and recorded
• Assist on overseeing and supervising the work of a more junior member staff
• Arranging and completing yearly tax filing including revision of CP2004 (if required), financial audits and reviews as required
• Recommend and maintain a system policies and procedures that impose an adequate level of control over Finance Department activities
• Assist in Cash Flow and budgeting exercise
• Handle accounts payable and bank control
• Validation and booking of supplier invoices in accounting system
• Monitoring of actual spend against budget
• Payment processing and monitor accounts to ensure payments in accordance with credit terms granted and are up to date
• Responsible for timely SST and WHT submission and ensuring payments are made to the relevant authority within the deadline
• Review Bank Reconciliation prepared by Junior staff
• Ensure that all financial deadlines relating to accounts payable are met for month/quarter/year-end financial closing including balance sheet reconciliation
• Maintain and ensure policies and procedures adhere to company guidelines
• Assist in preparing ad-hoc duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

• Relevant tertiary qualifications Diploma/Degree in Accounting/Finance
• Minimum 3 years and above of relevant working experience
• Able to work in a fast-paced and high transaction volume environment
• Able to multitask and work under high pressure
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Skills (Excel, Word) 
• Good understanding of principles and procedures of bookkeeping and accounting
• Knowledge of AutoCount accounting system or its equivalent
