Burson Malaysia is looking for a highly motivated and collaborative Senior Account Executive to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with local, regional, and global brands while building your career with a communications leader at the intersection of reputation, creativity, data, and technology.

As a Senior Account Executive, you will play a key role in the planning and execution of integrated communications programmes across earned, social, influencer, and digital channels. You will work closely with clients and account teams to develop strategic communications recommendations, deliver impactful campaigns, and drive measurable business and reputation outcomes.

We're looking for someone who is curious, proactive, and eager to learn, with a strong interest in emerging communications trends, influencer engagement, data-driven insights, and AI-enabled communications.

What you'll do:

• Support the development and execution of integrated communications strategies and campaigns across media, influencer, digital, and social platforms.


• Manage day-to-day client relationships and ensure successful delivery of programmes within agreed scope, timelines, and budgets.


• Develop compelling content including media materials, reports, briefing documents, social content, and thought leadership pieces.


• Build and maintain relationships with media, influencers, content creators, and key stakeholders.


• Conduct research and leverage audience, industry, cultural, and competitive insights to develop informed communications recommendations.


• Monitor, analyse, and report campaign performance using media monitoring, social listening, and data intelligence tools.


• Contribute strategic and creative ideas for client campaigns, integrated communications programmes, and new business opportunities.


• Embed AI-enabled tools into everyday workflows to support research, ideation, content development, insights generation, and campaign optimisation.

Experience that contributes to success:

• •    Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, Business, or a related discipline.
  •    3-5 years of experience in public relations, communications, influencer marketing, digital communications, or a related field.
  •    Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to develop engaging content across multiple channels.
  •    Experience working on integrated communications campaigns spanning earned, owned, social, influencer, and digital channels.
  •    Understanding of influencer engagement, creator ecosystems, social media trends, and content-led storytelling.
  •    Ability to interpret data, audience insights, media intelligence, and campaign analytics to inform recommendations and measure success.
  •    Familiarity with Generative AI tools and an understanding of how AI can be applied across communications planning, research, content creation, ideation, and operational efficiency.
  •    Ability to develop and execute strategic communications programmes that deliver measurable business and reputation outcomes.
  •    Results-driven and client-focused, with strong project management and stakeholder management capabilities.
  •    Collaborative and proactive team player with the ability to lead projects, mentor junior colleagues, and thrive in a fast-paced agency environment.
