SENIOR ACCOUNTANT - Energetic Workplace

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

1) Oversee period and account closing activities to ensure timely submission and accurate financial reports.
2) Leading team in managing the full set of accounts, including but not limited to general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and fixed assets.
3) Prepare both recurring and ad-hoc financial analysis on outlet performance, Company level P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow Statement.
4) Ensure adherence to internal controls, policies and procedures, maintaining financial reports in accordance with Financial Reporting Standard. 
5) Collaborate with tax agent, auditors and other regulatory bodies, preparing relevant schedules, supporting documentation, and addressing any related matters.
6) Support the training and development of team members to enhance their skills and knowledge, while also managing team performance. 
7) Undertake ad-hoc assignments as required by Management, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in responding to evolving business needs.

SPECIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS: 
1. Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance or equivalent.
2. Member of Accountancy professional bodies (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CPA, MIA) or equivalent.
3. Computer literate and knowledge in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) and any accounting software (e.g. SQL).
4. Minimum of 3 to 5 years of senior/team-lead experience in an Audit firm or Commercial industry. 
5. Strong financial analysis mathematical, analytical skill and problem-solving skill.
6. Ability to work independently while maintaining confidentiality.
7. Excellent communication, organizational, team management and leadership skills.
8. Knowledge of general accounting principles, regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
