Qualifications & experience

• 1. Minimum bachelor’s degree in accountancy or equivalent and qualified certification
• 2. At least three years of accounting firm experience
• 3. Experience in leading a team of at least 2-3 accountants
• 4. Experience working with XERO and other accounting software is preferable
• 5. Proven track record of delivering objectives in a fast-paced environment under strict deadlines and consistently high standards
• 6. Meticulous with a good level of accuracy and attention to detail is a must
• 7. Team player with a positive attitude and a great spirit of teamwork
• 8. Good communication and interpersonal skills

Tasks & responsibilities

• 1. Handle multi legal entities’ full sets of accounts
• 2. Work with the team to perform accounts payable and accounts receivable, perform monthly account reconciliations, and monitor general ledger transactions
• 3. Ensure monthly, quarterly, yearly closing of accounts are timely and accurate
• 4. Prepare and review the month-end financial close, tax filing/reporting, and compliance with the local tax authority
• 5. Prepare financial statements and support the annual statutory audit
• 6. Provide financial information to clients in the preparation of annual budget/forecasts
• 7. Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations and integrity of financial data
• 8. Collect and analyze financial information to recommend or develop efficient use of resources and procedures, provide strategic recommendations, and maintain solutions to business and financial problems
