SENIOR ACCOUNTS OFFICER (COSTING) - Rewarding Work

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Responsible in analysis of financial performance and involvement in the preparation of monthly financial statements, management accounts and financial planning and analysis, forecasts and budgets.
2. Responsible in inventory control procedures, inventory monitoring and analysis. 
3. Work and collaborate with cross functions teams on costing, and work centers rates, determine standard cost and investigate variances with actual costs.
4. Improving, automating and upskilling financial planning & analysis initiatives / implementations involving processes, systems and structures. 
5. Participate in developing and documenting policies and procedures.
6. Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and other statutory bodies to ensure compliance with matters relating to audit, tax and statutory requirements.
7. Any other responsibilities assigned by the Supervisor from time to time required by the management.

Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting/Finance or professional qualification.
• Minimum 5 years working experience in contract manufacturing or semiconductor industry.
• Experienced in GL/Costing related tasks.
• Excellent critical thinking skills, detail oriented with strong analytical skills and experienced in carrying out Costing activities across business units.
• Demonstrate strong project management, communication in English and interpersonal skill, able to work independently and with great teamwork, and work under tight deadline. 
• Experience in liaising with external auditors to ensure compliance with matters relating to audit and other statutory requirements.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Power Point, Office.
• Proficient in Accounting software such as Oracle experience will be an added advantage.
