Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the accounts receivable / collection function.
- Monitor customer accounts for overdue payments and follow up with customers and the sales team to ensure timely collection.
- Review and analyse credit applications and make credit decisions based on established criteria.
- Establish and maintain credit limits for customers.
- Work closely with the sales team to resolve billing and payment issues.
- Prepare reports on accounts receivable aging and collection activities for management review.
- Ensure compliance with company credit policies and procedures.
- Supervise and mentor junior staff in the accounts receivable / credit control function.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in accounts receivable and credit control, preferably in a senior role.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and credit risk assessment.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Comfortable working in Alcohol Industry
