Senior Analyst, Material Planning

The Global Production Planning Nerve Center – Backlog Management (BM) Senior Analyst is responsible for liaison with the Americas, EMEA and APJC regions to ensure escalations, expedites and risks are addressed. The BM Senir Analyst will work closely with Production Control team and ODM Production Planning team to ensure the right priority is being followed to ensure customer expectations and maximize Client Notebook shipments. The BM Analyst will work in a team to support common goals and meet KPIs.

As a Senior Analyst, you will analyze planning data, maintain parameter accuracy, and prepare schedules and order releases. You will review exceptions and shortages, coordinating with procurement and manufacturing. You will build reports and dashboards that improve decision-making.

You will:

• Expedite & manage customer escalations for all supply chains (Build-to-order, Retail, Channel & Build-to-Stock) with ODMs

• Govern & drive right part lead-time with the regions for ODMs ​and Execute playbooks to max out IDC and End-of-Quarter invoiced Ships ​and finished goods inventory control for quarter

• Drive Retail & Build-to-Stock ‘Must arrive at Hub’ performance ​

• Manage Pre-production Order Flow for all supply chains - Illegal Orders, PO rejected & Order Re-assignments​

• Ensure adherence and provide process standardization across regions and Regular communications & formal reviews

Essential Requirements

• 1+ year relevant production management, experience in working on Global Programs / Projects.

• Excellent communication & networking skills - English (Mandarin speaking preferred）.

• IT literate (Excel, Words, Power-point), simply IT script knowledge will be an added advantage

• Able to work on flexi hours when needed

   

Desirable Requirements

• Master’s degree in management courses or relevant courses

• Goal oriented, disciplined with good motivational skills.

• Proven leadership skills with experience in multi-year.
