Senior Associate - Internal Audit - Career Growth Potential

We are currently looking for a highly motivated Internal Auditor to join the team.  Based in Kuala Lumpur, you will work closely with the Head of Internal Audit and Risk Management to provide independent assurance that the organization`s risk management, governance and internal control processes are operating effectively.   

RESPONSIBLITIES :

• Assist in the design of the audit program for each internal audit assignment.
• Conduct internal audits in accordance with the approved internal audit plan.
• Ensure assigned projects are completed in a timely manner.
• Document audit work performed accurately in a clear and organized manner, supported by audit evidence for review.
• Interpret audit results and develop value adding recommendations to address weaknesses in the control environment and reduce risks or improve existing processes.
• Assist to conduct closing meetings to communicate findings to management. 
• Perform ad hoc tasks and special projects/reviews as assigned from time to time.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Degree in Accountancy or equivalent professional qualification 
• 2 or more years of audit experience in big 4 highly preferred or a mid-sized organization or an international public accounting firm.
• Proficiency in Microsoft office applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
• Excellent interpersonal and written communications skills with strong report writing and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a dynamic environment.
• Proactive and adaptable to changing priorities and different challenges.
• Ability to maintain and ensure confidentiality.
• An ability to work to and meet agreed deadlines.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communications skills
