Role Summary:
Lead pre-handover inspections, monitor rectification works, and manage customer feedback processes to ensure a high standard of project delivery and customer satisfaction.
Key Outcomes:
• Inspection Leadership: Ensure units meet VP conditions.
• Operational Excellence: Verify documentation and ensure project standards.
• Customer Support: Address customer feedback effectively.
• Contractor Coordination: Foster strong relationships to expedite works.
Key Responsibilities:
Support to Customer Service Operations
• Leads pre-handover inspections and monitors defect rectification
works to ensure units are VP-ready.
• Administers operational processes for inspections and facilitates
smooth project completion.
• Collaborates with contractors and consultants to drive
operational efficiency.
Defect & Complaint Management
• Supports customer feedback handling, proposing and
implementing resolutions effectively.
• Monitors defect management processes and ensures
rectifications are completed to Eco World standards.
Community Maintenance & Security
• Coordinates operational matters with contractors and service
providers to maintain service quality.
• Ensures compliance with operational and security standards in
developments.
Reporting & Documentation
• Compiles inspection reports and documents defect rectification
activities.
• Oversees documentation of technical meetings and customer
engagement related to operational matters.
Core Competencies & Technical Expertise:
Technical Competencies
• Defect & Complaint Management – Leads defect inspections and follows up on rectifications, drives defect closures within the obligated timeframe.
• Customer Communication – Communicates technical resolutions and project updates.
• Operational Execution – Administers inspections and monitors technical operations.
• Collaboration with Vendors – Coordinates rectification works with contractors.
• Performance Monitoring – Oversees defect closure progress and service standards.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with demonstrated accountability and technical communication abilities.
Operational Management
• Task Delegation Support – Assigning tasks to vendors and contractors, and monitoring their performance closely. Ensures that contractors adhere to timelines and quality expectations.
• Operational Guidance – Provides clear instructions to junior team members and vendors to maintain uniformity in site operations, especially on defect rectifications.
• Follow-Up & Monitoring – Leads in checking the status of rectification works and ensures timely updates in records and systems.
• Service Quality Assurance – Implements service standards and tracks progress toward KPIs. Reviews contractor performance reports regularly and initiates corrective actions when targets, such as response times or closure rates, fall below the acceptable threshold.
Qualifications and Experience
Educational Background
• Diploma/Degree in Architectural, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
Experience Requirements
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in defect rectification and quality control.
