Job Overview
- To be assigned to BPR (Business Process Re-engineering) Team in Corporate Planning Department in MIMS
Team Mission
- Enhancing BU Efficiency: Streamlining processes and optimizing internal systems to enhance business teams’ efficiency for smoother operations and increased productivity.
- Providing Timely, Accurate Data: Supplying timely, accurate data to support management in making informed decisions for strategic planning and resource allocation.
- Ensuring Operational Continuity: Guaranteeing operational continuity by providing stable, robust, internally developed systems to minimize disruptions and ensure seamless operations.
- Minimizing Third-Party Costs: Reducing third-party costs by transitioning to in-house developed systems to increase efficiency and control, maximizing cost-effectiveness while maintaining high standards of quality and reliability.
Needs for a new hire
- Not only MIMS runs multiple types of business in 17 countries, but it is still expanding by new acquisition of companies in different countries. Specifically, in the following business administration areas, MIMS wants to implement process improvement together with business application implementation / enhancement.
- Financial Accounting (Individual companies/ Consolidation)
- Managerial Accounting (Budgeting and Forecasting)
- Sales Order Management (Order, Invoicing, interfacing with CRM/SFA)
- Customer Relationship Management (Sales activity management such as sales lead management)
Job Responsibilities
- Managing IT Projects: Oversee IT projects focused on optimizing financial and accounting processes from inception to completion.
- Requirements Gathering: Facilitate meetings between cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define project scope.
- Analysis and Reporting: Utilize business process and data analysis frameworks to define project requirements.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with stakeholders on financial and accounting process optimization/system introduction projects.
- Autonomous Work: Work autonomously and proactively seek opportunities to learn and adapt to new concepts and technologies.
Job Requirements
Must Have
- Experience and Education: Approximately 5 years of experience as a business process analyst with a Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
- Familiarity with financial accounting systems.
- Project Management: Demonstrated expertise in optimizing financial and accounting systems/processes.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient in SQL and Excel
- Database Skills: Proficient in drawing logical data model
- Communication Skills: Strong proficiency in spoken and written English with excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of management accounting
- Familiarity with BI tools such as PowerBI and Tableau
- Experience with CRM and SFA tools like Salesforce and Pipedrive
- Experience in VBA scripting
