Penerangan Pekerjaan - Senior CNC Setter

Operate a group of CNC machines according to stipulated conditions.
Hourly inspect parts and record critical dimensions.
Change tools according to schedule.
Follow procedures on takeover and handover shifts.
Visual check of sample parts, machine/tools condition and housekeeping.
Examine the engineering drawing and material specification and verify the fixture and tooling used.
Set up the machine accordingly to the process plan by Programmer.
Check parts produced after settings meet customers' specifications before passing on to the machine operators and machinist to handle the machine.
Trouble-shoot and fine tune machines to operate at optimum condition.
Continuously seek to make suggestion for improvements and cycle time management.
Lead and guide junior CNC setter.
Able to use measuring equipment like micrometers, calipers, dial indicator, thread gauges and etc.

• Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 is advantageous.
