Senior Developer (Contract) - Rewarding Work

Key Responsibilities:

Full-Stack Development

• Leverage expertise in C++ and Java-based full-stack development environments to design, develop, and implement scalable and robust solutions

Quality Assurance

• Collaborate with QA testers during testing, debugging and performance tuning to ensure the reliability, security and scalability

Collaboration and Communication

• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including project managers, technical leads, architects, and business analysts, to achieve project goals and deliverables. Communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders

Documentation and Reporting

• Maintain comprehensive documentation of development activities, configurations, and system integrations. Provide regular updates and reports on project progress.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related disciplines
• Minimum 5 years in software development role in large service or vendor based organisation or established banks/ financial institutions.
• Experience in ACI product suites, particularly Base24-eps, UPF and OCM24 will be an added advantage.
• Understanding of Cards and Consumer Banking related systems.

Technical/Functional Skills:

• Strong knowledge and experience in C++ and Java for full-stack development, including backend (server-side) and frontend (client-side) development.
• Familiarity with web development technologies and frameworks, such as Spring Boot for Java-based applications.
• Experience with database technologies, both SQL and NoSQL, for data storage, retrieval, and management.
• Ability to integrate systems using APIs, including RESTful APIs, to facilitate communication between different components.
• Proficient in testing methodologies, debugging techniques, and performance tuning to ensure the reliability and efficiency of developed solutions.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git for collaborative development and code management.
