Job Responsibilities

• Enhancing the development, deployment, and operational processes of the company software applications via DevOps methodology. 
• Collaborate with development, operations, and business teams to understand requirements and design solutions that meet their needs. 
• Continuously monitor and improve the performance and scalability of the infrastructure and automation. Develop and implement best practices for configuration management, continuous integration, and continuous delivery. 
• Identify and mitigate risks to the infrastructure and automation. 
• Ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements. 
• Reviewing existing processes and coming up with well thought out plans to improve them. 
• Monitor system performance to identify and resolve issues before they affect customers. 

Required Skills

• Proficient in Linux/Unix operating systems and shell scripting 
• Expert knowledge of configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Terraform) 
• Experienced in containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Podman, Kubernetes) 
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps) 
• Proficient in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and their services 
• Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) practices 
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack) 
• Familiarity with security best practices and compliance requirements 
• Proficient with firewalls, web servers, application servers, databases, routers/switches. 
• Create and maintain documentation 
• Understanding of networking, security, and best practices in cloud environments. 
• Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or Kubernetes Certified Administrator (optional) 

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field 
• 5+ years of experience in DevOps or a related field 
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills 
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills 
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing technologies 
• Proven experience in automating and streamlining software delivery processes 
• Knowledge of agile methodologies and project management practices
