Qualifications & experience

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
• Min 5 Years of Relevant Experience in Electronics & Electrical design of Power / Control / Instrumentation / Communication board-level circuits – from concept solutions, schematics, PCB, verification to NPI.
• Optional - minimum 3 years of Printed Circuit Board (PCB) Design experience (in PCB layout in high speed and high density interconnects - HDI) using PCB CAD tools
• Understanding of electronic component/embedded system integration and makes independent judgement using sound engineering principles, with robust familiarization of circuit schematic entry, schematic capture and circuit simulation(s).and testing techniques.

Tasks & responsibilities

• Focuses on specific electronic hardware design and documentation for customer products using standard methods and tools to provide products that are manufacture able and meet both the customers’ requirements and the Benchmark manufacturing support groups’ requirements.
• Design schematics using Cadence OrCAD, Mentor VX Designer for custom circuit interfaces and signal controls for electrical system design.
• Develops electrical project proposal inputs and associated cost estimates that aligns with product budget.
• Assists with assembly of prototypes, board bring up power-on efforts and board debugging to produce a golden referenced board design with evaluation of quality measurements on electronic designs in accordance with a verification plan.
• Performs evaluation of quality measurements on electronic designs in accordance with a verification plan.
