Senior Electrical System Engineer - Fast Hire

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Participate as a team member and liaise with customers on the electrical system/circuitry design aspects, especially for new automated system projects/new products development.
• Train & provide guidance to the in-house assembly and setup team in electrical wiring and troubleshooting.
• Communicate with design & project team & validate on primary electrical, control and safety circuits for products including writing controller specification, writing control sequence of operation, development of control programs (by 3rd party), sizing and selection of switchgear, terminals and cables, electrical wiring schematic, control panel layouts, cable routing and harnesses.
• Develop and sustain electrical engineering design standards and ensure full compliance to internal QC and external local and international requirements.
• Any other duties as assigned by the superior from time to time.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree/Post Graduate Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related technical field
  Good knowledge in electrical control system design and troubleshooting skill.
• Experience in automation manufacturing industry and have knowledge in sensors, I/O Motion, PLC modules, Motors and Drivers.
• Experience in PLC design, logic, programming and integration will have added advantage.
• Experience in collaborative research and thriving in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
• Minimum 6 years’ experience in related electrical, maintenance and facilities job functions. Those who have worked in semiconductor and/or automation industry will have an added advantage.
• Willing to travel, if required to customers’/subcontractor sites in various states in Malaysia and overseas.
