Senior Engineer CE PYE (Physical Failure Analysis)

Perform sophisticated electrical device characterization to determine electrical fail mechanisms. Operate fault isolation equipment to accurately narrow down failure defect locations. Conduct physical failure analysis to identify and classify physical defects. Establish and hypothesize potential electrical or process fail mechanisms based on detailed electrical fail models and physical failure analysis characterization, supporting process improvement. Collaborate closely with a diverse range of collaborators, including teams from frontend to backend and the Global Quality (GQ) department, to address and resolve defectivity issues. Prepare and present comprehensive electrical and physical failure mechanisms on a weekly basis to drive continuous improvement. Develop and implement new fault isolation and physical failure analysis techniques to stay ahead of industry standards. Lead and guide a team of CE PYE technicians, encouraging a collaborative and ambitious work environment. Coordinate the maintenance and high uptime of fault isolation and physical failure analysis tools to ensure world-class operational efficiency. Bachelor's or equivalent experience, Master's or equivalent experience, or PhD degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering. Proven experience as a great teammate with outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills and a strong drive to excel. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex information effectively in large meetings. Highly motivated individuals with a passion for innovation and excellence. Knowledge of fault isolation equipment, techniques, and physical failure analysis is a significant advantage. Strong understanding of non-volatile NAND devices and knowledge of Fab processes is a desirable asset. Ability to support shift rotation as required to meet operational needs.
